Intern at Hulu

Intern the Hulu way

At Hulu, we strive to captivate and connect people with stories they love. We have a unique opportunity at the intersection of entertainment and technology to be the number one choice for TV in and out of the home. As a Hulu intern, you’ll work on real projects that impact our viewers, with the opportunity to collaborate across all levels of the business.

Program Timeline

While our goal is for interns to experience all facets of life at Hulu in person, we are poised to pivot to a virtual internship experience and have proven success in doing so. Whether in person or virtual, our internship aims to make every intern feel right at home at Hulu.

You'll be working on major business and tech challenges that have a real impact on our viewers — plus getting exposure to all areas of our company. No busy work here!

You're encouraged to participate in all Hulu-wide events, where you'll have plenty of chances to tap into our network and find new connections. For example, in our Employee Resource Groups you can meet employees of all backgrounds in an inclusive, supportive environment.

Interns get exclusive access to talks and Q&As with company leaders. We're all about transparency here, so you can ask the big questions that will help you on your own career journey.

In addition to other great benefits, you'll get access to your very own Hulu VIP account during your internship — including live TV and all the add-ons — all for free.

We want to see you grow and — hopefully — become a full-time member of our team. You'll partner up with a mentor who will help you with learning objectives, evaluations, and career guidance. In partnership with talent development, we offer workshops every summer for interns.

The Intern Experience

Hear from former interns about their stories and what they accomplished while interning at Hulu.

“The team culture was the strongest reason why I came back to Hulu as a Data Scientist. It has been a great decision, and I have really enjoyed doing amazing work and learning from great minds.”

Former Data Science Intern

“I got to feel and learn every aspect of working as a developer, from technical problems to building my own project. The internship also sharpens soft skills including effective communication and cross-team collaboration — something we don’t usually get much exposure to in the technology-oriented curriculum in college.”

Former Software Engineer Intern

“Being an intern was super rewarding. I was able to own my work in a way that was very much like being a full-time employee. In fact, I always felt that I was given legitimacy, autonomy, and that my work could make a difference for both my team and the company.”

Former Marketing Strategy and Operations Intern

“At Hulu, embracing fun is part of the workday. Whether it be Gelato Wednesdays, a company Happy Hour, or just a ping pong match at lunch, you’ll never be bored. We work hard, but that hard work is always recognized."
