SUMMARY
Hulu’s Dev Team is seeking Software Developer who will be an exceptional addition to our Development team. As a Software Developer at Hulu, you will work on different end-to-end scenarios, with cutting-edge front-end and back-end technologies to delight our customers. The right person for this role is a passionate technology pioneer, a problem solver, and an innovator, with a high bar for him/herself, . If you are someone who thrives in a team environment and gains personal satisfaction when sharing knowledge and partnering with teams across Hulu, then this is a great role for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design, implement, maintain, and enhance applications and services.
- Invent novel solutions to challenging technical problems
- Improve performance, scalability, and availability of our systems
- Diagnose and debug issues in production environments
- Collaborate with researchers, program managers, and product designers in an open, agile environment
- The ability to jump into a project and contribute immediately to both design & implementation
- Great communication and willingness to take challenges head on, while being part of a team
- Advocate for users of our platform by leading the design of innovative and easy-to-use interfaces
WHAT TO BRING
- Bachelor's/M.S degree in Computer Science or other related technical field.
- A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals.
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages including but not limited to: JavaScript, Java, C, C++, C#, Ruby or Python.
- In-depth knowledge of web-service/data-driven application architecture
- Involvement in open-source or side projects outside of your CS academics
- Independent, energetic, highly technical, and capable of driving for results under pressure and ambiguity.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
